[Steppes] Leaving Steppes :'(

Hello everyone!

I know we haven't been to many events lately, but life has really been knocking us a few good ones.  Lord Jon has been working for Pilgrim's Pride for almost 5 years, and, as you may have heard, the company was bought out in January.  His department is being transferred to Greeley, Colorado, and, with economic times being tough right now (and half of us being unemployed for going on two years), we have no other choice than to move to the Outlands.  Jon has thoughts of rekindling the Outlands War we Ansteorrans used to enjoy before Gulf Wars.  We shall see!  We have made so many friends here in the Steppes over the last several decades and we will miss you all!

We are going to be so homesick leaving Texas and Ansteorra, so if any of you have friends or SCA contacts in the areas north of Denver (Greeley, Fort Collins, Denver, etc.), please let us know so we can introduce ourselves to them when we get there!

Jon says, when you are at Warlord and it's humid and 102 degrees, know how much we are missing you although we're at an Outlands event, and it's only 85 degrees! :)

If we can make it, this Steppes Warlord will be the last Ansteorran event before our move in late June.  Those of you who attend A-kon, however, will see us on a yearly basis.  If you should be attending a nearby event, please drop us a line.
