Awards:

Lady Viviana Rowantree received a Sable Thistle in painting, and my husband
Duncan de Bard received his Award of Arms. Adelaide de Beaumont received
a Court Barony, as did the king's sister (I'm afraid I don't know her name), and
TWO future pelicans were announced but I don't know their full names.

Many many thanks to Viviana who made my husband and I some lovely
court garb.  Viv, I can't thank you enough, and we are relieved that we no
longer look like we wandered in from a ren faire.

Also, many thanks to all who helped with the Ministry of Children's activities
at 12th Night, including especially Katerine who helped all day long,
and her friend Breck.  And thanks to the unnamed male friends of
theirs who helped my husband Duncan de Bard with reloading the
car with all of our stuff.  I think the kids had a great time with painting,
origami, toys, and indoor and outdoor games.  Thanks also to Fiona
the Needleworker who loaned us some wonderful wooden board games.  And
Thanks to Master Robin and all the bards who performed Sir Orfeo, which several
of the children attended and enjoyed after my class.

We hope to have some limited children's activities at Kingdom A & S in a month
too, in a similar format (tables in the corner of the hall worked just 
fine!)   We hope to do some simple banner painting for Warlord, or other
activities similar to what was done at 12th Night.  However, it is my understanding that
if we want to see the dive show (11 and 2) at the fish hatchery and see the exhibits, 
it is $2.50 per person, a substantial reduction over the regular price but a charge nonetheless.
So I may just let parents do this on their own with children if they are at
Kingdom A & S or at this facility in the future.  I decided not to take the kids in a group
on Saturday because some had already seen the show and I did not want to
spring a charge on anyone at the last minute.
