[Steppes] Youth Chivalric Toorney at Warlord

Once again Warlord was an awesome event to attend. Many great fighters, bards, archers and dancers. Wow, the dancers......Anyway, the Youth Chivalric Tourney was especially fun despite the heat, we had 16 fighters take the field fighting for their divisions. The winners were Kaitlyn Mc Graham for the Childrens 6-9 Div, Gilliam pronounced Gamiel for the 9-12 Youth Div, and Thomas ap Dui for the Youth 13-15 Div. These kids gave it their all by showing great skill in armored combat and even better honor. All the children fighting showed honor, but the one that stood out the most in my opinion was a very skilled fighter named Samuel, sorry I didnt get his last name. The best death, in my opinion, went to Mark Mc Neil who, after being chopped in half, still took a few stepps, looked around, rolled his eyes and then fell to the ground.

I would like to give a special thanks to Ly. Liliana our wonderful Kingdom Youth Marshal who came down and ran with the confused mess that I made. She taught a 2hr Youth Authorization class with 16 children who all wanted to ask questions at the same time, ran a Youth Chivalric Marshaling class, held an armor inspection and fighting authorization bout and then took the long walk to run a very hot but successful tourney without any complaint and with a smile on her face the whole time. You are a true Lady of Ansteorra Ly. Liliana. I would also like to thank Ly. Gwen for heralding the tourney, our wonderful and beautiful List Mistress Ly. Alex Nottclaire, the Lord of House Falcon Rose Ld. Aradon, and Fieacha the Blue for working with the kids in melee practice on Sunday. There are others I would like to thank, but I didnt get your names, you know your who you are and thanks so much for helping all these kids have so much fun.
