[Steppes] Our Annual Great Jack-O-Lantern Shoot will not happen this this year!

Good new, bad news!  The good news is the Rangers made it to the world series!  The bad news is the owners of the location for our Jack-O-Lantern 
Shoot have to work the Rangers world series game so the site is no longer available.  With so little time which to relocate the shoot to another site that would meet it's unusual needs we're just going to have to cancel our annual little party/event.  

I know many of you have been looking forward to this year's shoot as have I and its been a very difficult October for our archery community.  It's been anything but business as usual for us this month however we do hope to get things back on track soon.  I do apologize for any inconvenience and couldn't be any more disappointed than anyone else myself!  

So save your pumpkin treats for any Halloween parties you might of missed to attend this year's shoot, the rum in the prize basket shall keep until next year, the combat archery pinata will get a twelve month reprieve, feast crossbow combat will have to wait until our 12 Night tournament, as shall the pumpkin ale, and don't forget to put those carved jack-o-lanterns in your windows to keep "Stingy Jack" and his nocturnal minions at bay on all hallows eve.  They will feel the sting of our arrows & bolts soon enough in the fading light of the following season!  Have a Happy & Safe Halloween All!
