[Steppes] Steppes Archery Practice Sept. 5, 2010

Greetings all, 

The weather diviners claim it shall be sunny with a high of 90 degrees 
for Sunday so we are planing to hold Steppes Archery Practice 9 AM 
(SCA time) on the old Eastfield archery range.  Range is located just 
north of the Motley I-30 exit on the right side just next to the tennis 
courts.  Parking may be found in the far end of the church parking lot 
on the opposite side of Motley across from the tennis courts.  

Don't forget your camp chairs, drinks and any snacks you might need 
to keep yourself going.  Since it is a holiday weekend lets make it a 
warm weather garb day.  Ya never know we might get some interested 
new comers from folk out enjoying the weather!  

After practice we plan to hold combat archery exercises again this
 
weekend, so should you want to come help (or just watch) our combat 
archers in training please bring your armor and do.  Maybe if a couple 
of fighters show up they can do pick ups between the combat archery 
exercises.  

I'd say we could make it a Gothic War Pity Party however its my range 
on Sunday and in my encampments there's only one rule "NO WHINING!", 
so I would say that lets that out! lol  

We plan to have a fun filled morning of flinging arrows down range and a 
afternoon of training combat archers doing their best to learn how to shoot 
each other without tripping over their own equipment.  It should be a hoot!
