[Steppes] Steppes 12th Night

Please join us in celebrating the Barony of the Steppes at Steppes 12th
Night!



We will have a variety of activities going on throughout the day in
addition to an absolutely wonderful feast (see the website for menu and
ingredients).

Feast is available via ACCEPS only.  Please register by December 29.



The event will be held INSIDE the metroplex at the UU Church of Oak Cliff.

Here are the some of the activities happening at our 12th Night event:

*Costume competition** - sponsored by Their Excellencies Steppes*
Steppes 12th Night is a great opportunity to come out and show off your
finest garb. Come and celebrate Steppes using the colors of Steppes (black,
green and gold) or the symbols of Steppes (acorns, oaks, squirrels, greis,
etc). Prizes will be given for:

   - Early Period Men's clothing
   - Early Period Women's clothing
   - Late Period Men's clothing
   - Late Period Women's clothing

*Gaming tables** - sponsored by Duke Hrafn Olafsson*
Duke Hrafn will be proving a variety of period games for people to try.
Come and learn how to play new games or get better at the ones that you
already know.

*Children's Scavenger Hunt** - sponsored by Lady Katharine Kavanaugh*
Children will have the opportunity to show how awesome they are! Come and
find things like the person on site with the highest position on the OP and
the person with the lowest membership number. The winner will be awarded a
prize!

*Table-top Siege Competition** - sponsored by HL Will Ironwyrm*
Come see how far you can fling a marsh-mellow and how accurately you can
aim them! This activity will be held out-doors.

*Table Decorating Competition** - sponsored by Their Excellencies Steppes*
During feast decorate with your table with the best decorations that
celebrate Steppes.
