The populace of Glaslyn invites you to come compete for the titles of Artisan Keeper or Defender of the Flame for Arts & Sciences We also have a novice competition for those new to competing.
This year our Arts and Sciences Competition will consist of a Body of Work Competition. 
The number of pieces is limited to 3, but can also be a single item, or two items. 
Documentation is not required, but is highly suggested. Be creative, and have fun! 

The titles available in this competition are: 
            Defender of the Flame - Chosen by the judges 
           Keeper of the Flame - Popular Choice of the Gentlemen of Glaslyn
           Novice Award - Chosen from among items entered by a first time entrant at A&S competitions
Due to site rules, please refrain from brewing entries. 


Come enjoy classes! We have a wide variety of classes for A&S.  We have a few for the fighters as well!
Ladies: Bring your machines and work on those sewing projects you just don’t have room at home to finish or the time either.  We will have open sewing to run all day.  Bring snacks and you’re your projects as we hangout and B**** while we stich (It’s called multitasking). This is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to work on garb as well.
 
Gentlemen: We will have a room set aside for you as well, so you can finally work on that busted armour.  Newcomers should also come and glean expertise from our fighters in the canton who can help you put together your armour.  Bring your tools, leather, smurfskin, metal, and the duct tape (if you just wouldn’t feel right leaving it).    
 
Site Fee: $5: all persons 12yrs old and up
Free: 11yrs & under.
There is a $5 non-member fee if applicable.

Pot Luck Dinner
There is a potluck dinner to be held in the evening.  All are invited to bring something to share with friends old and new. There are many places available for lunch near the campus.
Please note, the site is DRY per university regulations!! Please no alcohol or brewing entries.
