[Steppes] OT: New Job

Hey y'all, sorry for the off-topic. Some of you guys know I have been filling out applications like nobody's business and sending them out in Texas and Arizona. Next month, right around the 18th of the month, I will be moving to Arizona.  Yes. I'm going back to Atenveldt. I got a job! Some of you saw that I got a job in Willcox, Arizona. About 60-65 miles east of Tucson on I-10. That has changed. I will not be working in Willcox, I will be up in Tuba City, AZ on the Navajo Reservation. I had an interview on Wednesday afternoon. The two folks that I interviewed with told me before the interview was over that they were going to be submitting my name to the Board to hire me. This is an incredible opportunity. My students will be Navajo and Hopi for the most part. I have a 2 bedroom house waiting for me. I'll be 75 miles north of Flagstaff. So I'll get to play up in the mountains! It's a federal job. Which means better money, better benefits, and excellent retirement. I'm excited and sad at the same time. it will mean that I will be leaving Texas and leaving behind all of you wonderful people in the Steppes that I have gotten to know. I just wish I had gotten to know some of you a bit better.
