<p>I will respectfully remind you that what is being asked of this group

is

<br>to change 20+ years of tradition and to leave a place that many people

<br>have fond memories of and has served us well over this long period

of

time.

<p>It may well be in the Steppes best interest to make this change after

all

<br>these years, but that decision must come after careful consideration

of

<br>all concerns. That consideration will also include "pontificating"

by

<br>various parties on both sides as well as much deliberate and reasoned

debate.

<p>The pace may seem too slow for you, and the answer obvious, but in the

end

<br>the Steppes will reach the decision that best meets the needs of its

people

as a whole and that  is what is truly important.

<p>They are long gone, along with the rank porta potty's that were there

summer.

<p>I will bring my stuff out on the weekends I am not out of town (there

<br>actually a few) and welcome anyone who wants to come over to this side

of

town to come and play with me, and I am sure Rick and a few others.

<p>There is a lovely ramada that is large enough for us and probably a

company

<br>pick nick.  Yes the fighting field is sunny, but they all are,

what's new.

<p>There are lovely bathrooms that are kept clean, running water, real

drinking

fountains, a place where my kids can play safely.

<p>We have had 5 sets of fighters merrily going at it with room for many,

many

more.

<p>I am sorry if this offends anyone but I don't think that those who fight

<br>each week or even those of us who would like to and can't because of

the

<br>flagpole site's lack of facilities should have to wait around for everyone

to finish pontificating.

<p>So, for those of you who want to play, I will be there with my husband

on

<br>the weekends that we can, and everyone who would like to is always

welcome

to come and play.

We may even BBQ since they have facilities for that too.
