To the many newcomers to the Steppes, welcome.  Some of you have asked about meetings.  Our monthly business meeting is always the first Tuesday of each month.  It is held at La Madelainne Restaurant, 5290 Belt Line Rd., Addison, between Preston and the Toll Road.  It starts at 7:30 p.m., but many arrive early and eat the delicious food offered there (the desserts are sinful).
  The contents of the meeting are the going on in Steppes.  All of the Activity Heads, Coordinators, Guild Masters, etc. give their reports.  Coming events are discussed.  If there are things that need to be voted on by the populace, this is where it happens.  After the meeting, many of us gather out front to continue particular discussions that are of a more individual nature.  IT IS ALSO A WONDERFUL TIME FOR NEWCOMERS TO GET TO KNOW OTHERS, AND TO BE KNOWN BY MANY OF THE POPULACE, MAKE CONTACTS, AND PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.
     So, let everyone who has an interest in finding out what really is going on, come on down.  I am sure that the discussion will be very lively after Waterlord, oops, Warlord.  Steppes Artisan and other upcoming events need your attention.  See you there.
