I meant for the Elfsea hat race. I sent it to Steppes because there 
are people who are members of the SCA who play with Steppes but who 
are also part of Elfsea. I believe that due to the problems with gas 
we are going to have to work more closely in the metroplex. We may 
find that we can't afford to travel outside the metroplex. If we want 
to find and keep people we will have to produce events that are more 
exciting and cheaper. To keep a sense of newness all the groups will 
have to work together. Steppes, Elfsea and Dun Loch Ruld might need to 
go together to get some regional events that might be experiential. I 
know the future of the SCA in this area will take all of us working
