[Vindheim] Vindheim Championship Question

Hmm - Don't forget that it's entirely possible that MORE championships
could be created. I could easily see a "performance A&S champion" as a
possibility as well as Childrens' competitions in any or all of the above
areas.
Possibly the way to go would be for one year championships for everything
-- with the possibility of personal champions (in whatever field) for any
one P&P.
52 weekends a year.
Let's say 4 holiday weekends that don't get used locally (4th, Turkey day,
Xmas, NY's eve).
15 - devoted to Ansteorra/Vindheim events (Crownx2; Coronationx2;
Coronetx2; Round Tablex2; QCx2; GW (2 weekends), LPT, Collegium, KA&S)
12 - reoccurring events (wInterkingdom, Melees, W Baronial*, Castellan*,
Beltane, Triumphe*, Protectorate*, Samhain*, W. Yule, Axeman, Skirmishes,
Medieval Fair) [*PED events]
?? - Chemin Noir, Brad Leah, Adlersruhe do not have reoccurring PED events.
And Marata, Mooneschadowe, Skorragardr, Wyldewode do not have a second
event.
That's 31 weekends accounted for. Leaving 21 weekends theoretically
available. But let's be realistic -- the weekend before GW is not used and
frequently the weekend following the return - so all of March is out. So
down to 19 weekends.
It sounds theoretically possible to add two events a year for championships
-- as long as we don't mind holding them against other Ansteorran events
not in Vindheim.
