Good Sir Knight with a big smile,

I noticed the most odd thing in your messages, You appear to dislike
tournaments that have some basis in period tournaments. You have stated
that you dislike Barriers, Bear pits, and indirectly Swiss Five
tournaments. I would like to issue you a chalange. To my knowledge
elimination tournaments have no good basis in period. I chalange you
to prove me wrong. If you choose to accept this chalange then you have
until the Feast of Purification of the Virgin to find some primary or
academic secondary source that has evidence of an elimination
tournament.
If you choose to accept the challange and fail to complete it you must
fight in only non-elimination style tournaments Until the day after the
Grand Tournament at Steppes. If you do prove me wrong then as soon as
you give the proof to me until a day after the Grand Tournament at
Steppes I will only fight in elimination tournaments.

Peder

P.S. For the purpose of the challange an elimination tournament shall
be defined
as a medieval(pre-1600) tournament that has rounds where losers drop out
after so
many losses. Setup in some kind of bracketed style.
