[Western] Come Dance With Us

Come and dance with the Shire of Mendersham  June 2nd, 2001.  As with the
last 2 years, we will learn the dances in the morn and afternoon, then dance
our feet off until midnight.  The site is air conditioned, all indoors, and
we expect to enjoy both simple and complex dances all thru the day.  Visit
friends.  Learn new steps. Watch other people get some exercise.  Get some
yourself.  And you know that you like how Master Rosario cooks.  Bring your
favorite dish and show off your cooking skills.  Bring your current project
to work on and share with others when you are out of breath from that last
brawl.

Come and watch.  Come and dance.  Open up, your life enhance. <G>

On Saturday, the 2nd of June, from 10am to 12pm, the Shire of Mendersham is
hosting a
dance symposium to be held at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church in
Abilene, TX.

Site is Dry and No Smoking in the building.

Site fee is $5.00  for Adults and $2.00 for children under six with a
immediate family maximum of $20.00
Feast will be a potluck sideboard with meat prepared by Master Rosario and
drinks provided.

If your mundane last name starts with the letters:
A-L -  Bring a vegetable
M-R - Desserts
S-Z - Bread & Cheese

Please contact a Steward if you are planning to attend and what dish (i.e.
vegetable, Dessert, etc ) you are bringing so we can fill in if we need to.
There is a kitchen on site, but if you need to heat up your entree, please
bring all pans, etc that you will need.  Space in the kitchen will be
limited, so please contact the feast steward if you need to do anything to
your dish on site, so he can arrange for it.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also
attend with a 21 yr or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event
Waiver Form from the parent.

Directions – Coming from Dallas – Take I-20 west. Then take the Business
I-20 exit. This will turn into N. 2nd Street after the traffic circle at
Treadaway. Continue straight until Beech - turn right (3rd street after
Library). Church will be on the right. Dance will be in gym at N.5th, and
Orange.

Directions- Coming from Lubbock – take I20 East. At Tye take business I20
exit to Abilene. Will be on S. 1st, you will need to be on N. 1st, so turn
left and go across the railroad tracks at Willis or Leggett or whatever.
Once on N. 1st, go to Beech and turn left (iit will be the 2nd street after
Grape). Church will be on the right. Will be in the gym at N. 5th and
Orange.

The church is not far from downtown Abilene on the north side of the
railroad tracks.
