[Western] Passe de Armes XV

To the family of the Western Region:

The time is upon us! Come join us in celebrating the death of the Winter
Dragon at the Fifteenth observance of Passe de Armes! The event will be held
at beautiful Lake McClellan State Park on June 11, 12, and 13.

There will be Chivalric and Rapier tournaments, including the Champions
Battles where the winner of each list will face the winners of years past.

There will be an Arts and Sciences competition. Documentation is required,
and there is no theme.

Bards! Bring your two best pieces, and prepare to entertain!

The Company of the Horse and Lily will sponsor newcomers tournaments for
both heavy and light fighters.

Feast will consist of prime rib, new potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, breads,
cheeses, and vegetables. Fruit tarts will be served for dessert.  Any
questions, concerns (allergies), or reservations can be sent to
k-l at sbcglobal.net .  Reservations are limited to 50, and filling fast!

The Broken Toe Tavern will be on-site to offer foods and drinks.

Site Fees: Adults $8.00, Children 4-12 $4.00, Family Max $25.00
$3.00 surcharge for non-members
Feast Fee:: Adults $6.00, Children 4-12 $3.00, Reservations Encouraged

Site opens Friday, June 11 at 3 PM and closes Sunday, June 13 at noon.
Site is discreetly wet in period containers only. Minors must be
accomplished by a
parent or legal guardian. They may attend with a 21 year or older adult with
a
signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents. Pets allowed
with current shot records.
