Greetings to the Western Region!

It is time to choose a defender for the Shire of Blacklake!  In two weeks time,
the event shall be upon us and the Shire of Blacklake would like to extend a
special invitation to all those in our great Western Region!  We realize the
journey is tiresome as there is not much scenery in our area - save the sunrise
and sunset.  But fear not, the journey will be worth it!  Bring your regalia,
yours arts and sciences projects, your armor, and your love of the SCA!

Do not forget your canned goods!  (Discounts make the weekend better!)
There will be at least one tavern on site to serve meals everyday except during
Saturday night feast.  Also, there is a nearby hotel that is offering a special
rate to SCA members over the weekend ($57/night w/ up to 4 people/room).  Plese
contact the Feast Steward if you need the hotel specifics.
