...COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON WILL ARRIVE EARLY WEDNESDAY...
AN ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL SPREAD SOUTH THROUGH THE PLAINS STATES ARRIVING IN THE PERMIAN BASIN EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS AIRMASS WILL LIKELY BRING THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION SO FAR THIS SEASON. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY ACROSS WEST TEXAS CONTINUES TO DECREASE. LATEST FORECAST DATA INDICATES THAT HIGH TEMPERATURES ON WEDNESDAY WILL NOT MAKE IT OUT OF THE 20S ACROSS THE PERMIAN BASIN. ACROSS THE TRANS PECOS...HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN THE 30S...WHILE NEAR THE RIO GRANDE TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE 50S BEFORE THE ARCTIC AIR PUSHES THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. IN THE WAKE OF THE ARCTIC COLD FRONT...NORTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH RESULTING IN WIND CHILL READINGS FROM NEAR ZERO TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO.
WINDS SHOULD DIMINISH BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. HOWEVER...THE COLD AIRMASS SHOULD REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA THROUGH AT LEAST THURSDAY NIGHT BEFORE A SLOW MODERATION OCCURS INTO THE WEEKEND.
CHECK THAT HEATING DEVICES ARE IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. ALSO ENSURE THAT ALL EXPOSED PIPES ARE PROPERLY INSULATED. MAKE SURE PETS AND LIVESTOCK HAVE PLENTY OF FOOD AND WATER AND HAVE A WARM PLACE TO TAKE SHELTER FROM THE COLD.
ANYONE WORKING OUTDOORS OR PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY SHOULD ALSO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM THE COLD AS EXPOSED SKIN MAY GET FROST BITE IN AS LITTLE AS 30 MINUTES.

I am in need of information regarding hide tanning. I have a deer skin that I would like to have tanned. Does anyone do this kind of work or know of someone who does. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am sure that it does for many of us. But back to the original meaning of the subject, you might try looking at the Tandy Leather site, they should have some tanning kits you can order.
