Greetings unto all,
Sundered Shield VI was held this past weekend, and could not have been done without the help of the following people.
Lady Simone- not only did you organize the bardic symposium, you stepped in and acted as my Co-Co because neither myself or Alyenora had experience autocratting. Without your guidance all would have fallen apart. You also helped me judge the chivalry contest.
Duchess Willow- Not only did you teach, help judge the chivalry contest, and entertain and encourage me, you helped remind me of the dream and because of you this weekend I was there. I wasn't just camping in funny clothes I was there.
Lord Brennoch Eflam(sp?) aka AFLACK- every time something was needed you were right there to help, even at the end you helped Lady Eloiuse and I pick up the signs and load them. You helped set up and take down the list field and did waterbearing as well as carrying heavy things and being a "Go-for" the entire time.
Okie-you helped me run troll, set up, take down, entertained, "Go-For"ed, and so much more than anything helped me maintain sanity.
Baron Gavin-you helped by marshaling, setting up the list field, then taking it down, and defended this event from the dreaded Rospoli(sp?) instead of fighting in the rapier tournament. You even got a group together to stop the troll pavilion from totally being blown away.
Baroness Sayfie- you marshaled, you helped set up, you helped me with judging the chivalry contest, and were also a point of sanity as I was losing mine.
Sir Britta- you volunteered to be the marshal in charge for the heavy tournament and took a non-fighters suggestion for how to run a list and made it work where all had fun. You also helped both set up and take down the list field. As I was running around trying to make everything run smoothly, I felt secure enough about the tournament to be able to put my focus on everything else. And even in doing all this you found time to help me judge the chivalry contest.
Lord Dirk-you were there for set up and take down of the list, you helped marshal, you heralded for Baron Kainin, you were willing to do anything I asked of you to help me.
Tracy- you showed up and kept your commitment to me to be my Waterbearer in Charge even though you had other things going on in your mundane life that made you leave directly after the fighting. You were even a last minute judge for the chivalry competition. You were so awesome.
Lord Sven- the children's drumming class was awesome, you were so wonder full to teach that for me.
HL Ryah- you helped me maintain sanity, let me cool off in the RV, and helped bring into the bardic circle your personal flare that always helps me keep the dream alive.
Lord Byron- you ran the Knife, Ax, and Spear competition for me
HL Agnarr- You ran the archery competition and made the wonder full prizes.
Kief son of Agnarr- WOW, you worked so hard this past weekend. You were constantly asking how you could help and were willing to run errands for me in this hot sun.
House Falcon Rose-You not only fed me when I was too busy to remember to eat, you helped me with heavy lifting, hosted the bardic competitions with both food and drink, and your sheer numbers alone provided an atmosphere of absolute help, even made our portable non privacy shower, private. There was also Chirugions and Waterbearers from your household who helped keep everyone hydrated and safe.
Alyenorra- you were a wonder full Co and not only did you keep up with where all the stuff (ie troll, my cigarettes, etc.)got scattered to, you were a great point of sanity and you also taught the kids how to make a great looking drum.
Lady Eloiuse- you set up and ran the A&S competiton and were just an all around hard worker the entire event.
Lord Stephen Blackthorne- Friday you worked so hard getting everything both unloaded and set up and on Sunday you took down things and even helped me track down all the things I had scattered around.
Baroness Oriana- not only did you help with my chivalry contest, you were the tie breaker vote for the A&S competition, and you were just an all and all joy to be around, willing to help me in anyway possible.
Baron Kainin- not only did you hold an enjoyable court but you were also willing to help me in anyway possible.
I'm sure there are more people that helped out and I apologize for not knowing your names and also being to scatter brained still at this point to remember any more. Thank you all so much for attending and for working.
In Service to the Dream,
Lady Elizabeth Blackthorne
Sundered Shield VI Event Steward
