The Shire of Trelac cordially invites you to attend A Day In Egypt. The event will include a heavy list encompassing the riddles of the Sphinx, A light list which will be the hunt for The Book of the Dead, Arts and Science with an Egytian theme (documentation is required). Knife, Axe and Spear, Javelin throw, Senet (an Egyptian board game), tug of hoop, and Bardic (Egyptian theme requested but not required).
Feast will be provided by Aflac. There will also be entertainment at feast. For dietery restrictions please respond to egyptday at hotmail.com re: feast. Feast is also by reservation. Respond to above address. RV sites are available, but do cost $13 above site fee. To reserve RV space please respond to egyptday at hotmail.com re: RV.
Site opens at 2pm Friday July 15 and closes at Noon July 17. $10 covers the entire weekend, but if you will not be eating feast please see the autocrat and we will work something out. The usual non-member $3 fee still applies.
The event will be held at the park in Water Valley on CR 2034, 25 miles north of San Angelo, on Hwy. 87. Or approx. 58 miles south of Big Spring on Hwy 87.
Come celebrate the autocrats birthday with dancing, drumming, barding, and general revelling after the bardic competion.
