[Western] News Reort

I'm not sure just how to report this, as I've obviously fallen well out of favor with the guardsmen of Trelac... However, I have information regarding the recent whereabouts of Lord Gabriel. According to very reliable (and expensive) informants, he was last seen breaking bread (hopefully not from Blacklake Granary) with one Baron Chiang Ti Lung in Bonwicke. Apparently the two are rather close, as Gabriel was staying in one of the good baron's inns, riding one of his best steeds, and flaunting a rather large coinpurse around to the natives.

So, obviously, our wayward Gabriel is doing just fine...

I'm sorry to inform you that no seals were found, only donkeys. I think we are too far from the ocean for seals.

        Rizardo, Trelac Guardsman

As Seneschal of Blacklake I can assure the public that the grain at the Blacklake Granary is in no way tainted. It is also a fact that there is no one by the name of "Longfellow" in the employ of the granary. I suspect that one of the men posing as "taxmen" in the area lately was the actual culprit. We here in Blacklake take great pride in providing the best quality goods available, and are grievously saddened by the events in our neighboring shire.
I would also like to strongly ask that the local news service please investigate before reporting. That way there can be no damage done to anyone else's reputation. I would also greatly appreciate it if said reporter would publish an apology, for running the story saying the Blacklake Granary was dealing in tainted good, before contacting myself or any legal resident of Blacklake.
If the reporter had questioned someone he would have learned about this fraudulent employee, and been able to warn citizens to be wary. Any grain from our Granary would have the Blacklake Seal of Approval stamped on the bag. If someone of authority in Treloc could please look for a seal and if any is found, please contact me so that I can verify if it is indeed the Blacklake seal, I would appreciate that very much.
