[Western] Tales of the Ninja Celt

My Japanese history book says that they started out as a family of assassins in Japan. =) don't ask me the era because I slept through class that day. But basically, they existed for the sole purpose of sneaking into places, blending in, and killing their intended target. There was usually only one of them, killing one person, and they didn't wear black. 
Today's history lesson is brought to you by the crazy ramblings of Lady Grainne. 

But still, since you're not a pirate, you must be a ninja. =) (It's a sub culture joke; look it up) 

On a serious note, there has been tartan found as far east as central China. According to archaeologists, the Celts were the only ones that ever wore tartan. That says something about how well traveled they were. 

I suppose college DID pay off... And what I'm really trying to say is, I know they're Japanese; I just wanted to give you he**!

The ninja were Japanese. They took the idea from the Art 
of War by Sun Tzu and from the lin kuei, some times referred to in Chinese folk 
tales and such as either vagabonds or forest demons. I do have an interesting 
book about the vagabonds.
