My Lord Pavel,
I agree with you. The infractions we are guilty of, real or contrived, are equal to or less than those commited by other groups. However, since they are the policy makers and we are not, we have to live with what they decide. Or we can just go away. For myself, I choose to stay and play by the new rules, even if I don't care for them.

Elizabeth,
"what does "respectful" mean. means no name calling, foul language."
Yes.

"or speaking out of turn"
If by this you mean not following proper procedure, yes.

"It seems though that this is not what is expected"
If I remember correctly, and I do, this is what we were told to do. On the other hand, I don't know what you heard.

"it almost seems that "respectful" means shut up and go away."
Webster's Dictionary;
respectful ; 1 : marked by or showing respect or deference
respect ; 1 a: to consider worthy of high regard : ESTEEM
b: to refrain from interfering with
2 : to have reference to : CONCERN
                      syn see REGARD
deference : respect and esteem due a superior or an elder ; also : affected or ingratiating regard for another's wishes
                syn see honor
regard ; 4 a: the worth or esteem in which something is held
b: a feeling of respect and affection : ESTEEM
If you think they have not acted in this manner, that does not make it right not to be respectful.

"I will debate and petition the BOD for things that only the BOD can do, following proper chain of command"
As you should.

"yet I have been told this is not "respectful"
Not having been there when you were told, I'll have to take you're word for it. But in my opinion, they were mistaken.

"I have called no one any names, or yelled at anyone, or cursed at anyone"
Good for you.

"so if someone would tell me what is meant by "respectful", besides shut up and go away, I will be happy to try to be more "respectful"."
Please see above.

"Toshiro,I hope you do not take this as a direct attack against you"
If you would not have mentioned me, I never would have thought that.

"I am sure you did not intend to hit my last nerve."
As I am sure you did not mean to hit mine.
Toshiro

Everyone,Just curious though, what does "respectful" mean. My opinion is that it means no name calling, foul language, or speaking out of turn. It seems though that this is not what is expected, it almost seems that "respectful" means shut up and go away. I will debate and petition the BOD for things that only the BOD can do, following proper chain of command, yet I have been told this is not "respectful". I have called no one any names, or yelled at anyone, or cursed at anyone, so if someone would tell me what is meant by "respectful", besides shut up and go away, I will be happy to try to be more "respectful".Toshiro,I hope you do not take this as a direct attack against you, I am sure you did not intend to hit my last nerve.Elizabeth

My Lord Toshiro,
I understand what you are saying and agree with all but one point. The point that we did things wrong that precipitated this action is not so, from anything I have found. There are other groups that have done much worse than anything we have been charged with that are not being censured. There is something else going on that is apparently trying to use all the minor infractions to accomplish its goals. That is a seperate issue from the dissolution/suspension and is being handled seperately. I agree that we should be respectful, even though we have not been treated so.
