<P>I think that the polling would be a great thing, as so many of our guests at Gothic are from out of region. I do think though that you should add another category so that the people who are advocting a floating Gothic are properly represented in the poll. I just think that this discussion is best served by having all arguements represented.</P>
<P>Sorry if that seemed a bit forward. That said, i will go to Gothic no matter which site we use. For our autocrat for next year, please remember that this is the Argent Anniversary of Amazon, and there may be people there who are not normally in attendance, people such as HE Regina. While i don't see this as an enormous factor in our numbers next year, i do on the other think that it will play a part. Just a thought while you do take in the variables of site consideration. Already discussions are well underway for the celebration. If i am overstepping by saying anything about that, then i apologize, but once again i do think that our numbers will be affected by this. </P>
<P>We are not deciding on a site so much as we are again shaping the future of our premier event. If we do go back to Coleman, i would strongly urge heightened security. I don't worry about my things coming up missing and into the hands of my brothers and sisters in the SCA, if i thought that my things would be stolen, i wouldn't be playing. On the other hand, the mundane factor is always present, and when i see a good friend lose his helm and a sword, and when i see his magesty lose a shield, then i think that something needs to be done. I cannot say for sure that any of the afrementioned were taken by mundanes, but i have always considered our game to be based on honor, and in that light, those with none don't last very long. Of course i plan to attend Gothic, but i will be much more wary in light of this year's less than honorable behavior on some parts.</P>
