Did somebody call for a Quill? :)

People of the West of our great kingdom, hear me. I know that with my impending relocation to the Central Region and the rumble of Gothic in the distance has brought forward a few soft murmurings which question where my loyalties lie. It saddens me to know that the fickle reputation of my kind affects even my nearest neighbors. So it is that I hereby lay to rest any fears of sedition on my part, even for those who this thought had not yet occurred.

I am loyal to Ansteorra, and serve first and foremost the interest of the mighty Sable Star .Yes, I have found a lasting place to call home and great love here in the West, where beauty and strength abounds, and I would never knowingly raise my hand or voice against the people here. It rends my heartstrings to even think of a stain upon the reputation of any woman of this land, least of all the magnificent Mistress and exceptional Excellency, Baroness Oriana. Yet neither will I hear false faults said of the women of Elfsea, and I refuse to alienate those who I would soon call neighbor.

This bard isn't much of a fighter, and I have no weapon to swear but my tongue, which is already promised to the telling of Truth. You can be sure I will cheer on the heroes and tend to the fallen with equal blindness. This clash of brothers I will bear with sadness belied by my shouts for the valour of not Bonwicke nor Elfsea alone, but of Ansteorran warriors. And when the time comes to recall their might, my tongue will surely tell the tale fairly. Though a colourful story it will doubtless be, my judgment shall remain uncoloured. I see only black and gold, and am proud.

I say lets blow our horns to bring to attention the call to battle. I am not a captain nor a warlord, but let us start the drums, remove the blood from the last emeny from our steel, and call all seasoned warriors of the Western Region to step out of the mists of legend and join Bonwicke in this time of need. Let us turn our catapults inward to our own kingdom and raise the banners that will strike fear. Let us enter Gothic HUNGARY so that nothing will be left much as in the old days when locust would attack. Bards make ready your quills to write new legends of the day Ansteorrain warriors became a stronger force when the Western Region raised the standard of what happens when one of our own is challenged.
