<DIV>at our next Champions for Children in Trelac on Dec 7, 2008. I mention this now, because I have been told that people interested in making Garb for such a thing may need as much advance planning as possible, so now you have it. </DIV>

<DIV>The Fashion Show will be somewhat serious and educational for the mundane audience we hope to attract, Because of this,</DIV>
<DIV>the Fashion Show committee would like to have a picture (or at least a detailed physical description) and any background information (materials used, period it represents, etc.) in hand before the event. However, we don't want the mundanes to become bored, so the show will also have an element of humor. For example, a fencing doublet might be described as giving the wearer years of wear, unless killed in an untimely duel. Or, a gown might be described as pretty enough to get you a prince, if you act before midnight. You get the idea. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I hope this sounds like fun, and the show committee which now only consists of me, would like some other volunteers so we can write some catchy narration. </DIV>

<DIV>Of yes, and the new information I have for you is this: The Downtown Merchants will be providing us, not only with a sound system but a STAGE, that will be set up for us at the event. The other great thing about having a stage is that anyone wanting to do bardic or belly dancing or whatever can also use it to great advantage. So we are not only looking for Fashion, but Fame at this event. Fair warning.</DIV>
