About Ansteorra-announce2	English (USA)
1) Ansteorra-Announce is a public list that people can subscribe to. This list is moderated to ensure content of messages are appropriate and of an "announcement" nature. 2) Kingdom calendar event fliers will only be allowed from a legal representative for the group with the following restrictions: 2a) Major event changes such as change of location or cancellation will be allowed but realize that this is a moderated list and the post may be delayed beyond it's usefullness. 2b) Formats of tournament styles will be rejected unless it is being included as part the original event flier. 2c) Posts of event fliers more frequent then once a month will be rejected. 2d) Major out of Kingdom event fliers will be approved but they will follow the above rules as well. 2e) Postings of lost and found items will be allowed once after the event 3) Kingdom or Society officer announcements are almost always approved. 4) Discussions are not permitted on the Announcement list. That type of activity is for the Kingdom, Regional and Group lists. 5) Other things must be important announcements and not limited requests. (For examples, looking for an individual should go to the Ansteorra list and not the Announce list, but looking for teachers for a Kingdom event might be appropriate.) Using Ansteorra-announce2
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ansteorra-announce2@lists.ansteorra.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Ansteorra-announce2
Subscribe to Ansteorra-announce2 by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. (Note that this is an umbrella list, intended to have only other mailing lists as members. Among other things, this means that your confirmation request will be sent to the `-owner' account for your address.) Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
