        Greetings Unto the Artisans of the Kingdom of Ansteorra,
        As you know, the clouds of war gather upon the horizon, for once
again, Gulf War approaches. Ansteorra must summon all of her might if she is
to prevail in this war, and a great part of that Ansteorran might is Her
artisans. Not one, but two war points will be decided by the Arts and
Sciences! Therefore all you artisans, gather your best works and come to the
Barony of Bryn Gwlad for the Candlemas feast and celebration, for there will
the Crown and Laurelate of Ansteorra choose the artistic champions who will
represent Ansteorra in the A&S Champions Battle at Gulf War XI.
        Some important notes:
*	A total of 25 artisans will be chosen to compete in the Champions
Battle at Gulf War. Of those artisans, no less than three and no more than
six will be performers. The remaining artisans will be chosen from among the
static entrants.
*	Written documentation is required.
*	The Gulf War judging forms will be used.  These forms are available
for viewing on the web sites listed below.
*	Entries must not have been shown at previous Gulf Wars
*	There are no categories.
*	Entrants are not limited to number of entries, either in static or
performing.
*	Entrants in the Champions competition do not need to be present for
either the pre-war competition, or the Champions Battle at the war.
*	Remember that there is also a melee at the war.  The melee is open
to all, including opportunities for performance.  The more artisans who
enter, the better chance we have to win this point.  You must be present at
the war to enter the melee.
Candlemas will be held Feb 2nd in the Barony of Bryn Gwlad. For more
