Hi I'm Lady Valeria Marcella Martinez and I'm organizing the Toy Drive at Stargate Yule.
  Please bring a new or gently used toy to donate to the Mickey Leland Children's Crisis Shelter. A group of us will be going to the shelter the weekend after Yule to distribute the toys if you are interested in doing this please e-mail me and let me know.  My email is Vbrown3 at houston.rr.com,
Also the shelter is always looking for groups to come out and spend a couple hours with the children either doing a demo or a craft or just reading to the children and bringing them lunch.
The Mickey Leland Children' Crisis shelter is the first place these children are place after being removed from their homes by CPS.
