For those in Houston, Austin and San Antonio (who will not be making this
weekend's event), Istanpitta Early Music ensemble will be doing a 3 city tour
this weekend performing a program that features the 12th c. poem "Chevrefoil"
by Marie de France based upon the story of Tristan and Isolde.
Program: "Chevrefoil": Medieval Tale of Tristan and Isolde. The program
presents the tale of the ill-fated lovers in music and poetry by 12th c.
poet, Marie de France.

Instrumentation includes: Lute, Medieval Bagpipes, 14th c. Harp, Vielles, and
Chittara Moresca along with period percussion.
