A few notes about the upcoming Queen's Champion List.

1) Though it was mentioned in the Black Star that Queen's is planned for
indoors, and you will need appropriate footwear, it has be suggested that I
clarify what we mean by that. Beware of most boots.  We don't want to destroy
the floor we're fighting on, and they have little traction any way Most
leather soled boots are not appropriate. Shoes (or even boots) with rubber
soles should be fine.


2) Do not come to Queen's expecting to get authorized to fight in the list.
We will not be doing new authorizations that morning.  Issuing a new card to
replace an expired one is not really a problem, but new authorizations will
not be done.  If you think you need some special consideration, let me or a
regional marshal know now so we can set it up ahead of time.  Be aware you'll
need a good reason why you can't get it done sooner. (For example, turning 18
the morning of the list was the last exception we made.)

3) Armor inspection will start at as close to 8:00 am as I can get it to.
Court and the list will proceed at Her Majesties pleasure some time later.
