Greetings to all,

Here is the information and dance lists for the three dance balls of Known
World Dance and Music Symposium IV:

~Friday Night~

Friday night’s ball will have a “New World” theme. There will be a themed
side board and hand painted triable masks (South American) for everyone to
wear. Lady Ariane Landcaster & Lady Helene Quivremont will be running the
ball. The Dance list for “The New World Ball” is:

Set I-Almans and Pavans: Quadran Pavan, Lorayne Alman, Madam Sosilia’s
Alman, Earl of Salisbury's Pavan and Black Alman.

Set II-English Country Dance I: Gathering Peascods, Rufty Tufty (staying in
set), then Heart's Ease, Female Sailor and Kettle Drum.

Set III-16th Century Italian I: Ballo Del Fiore, Contrapasso en Due, Lo
Spagneletto and La Castellana

Set IV-English Country Dance II: Jenny Pluck Pears, Jack's Maggot, Hit &
Miss (staying in set), then Cuckolds All in a Row and Whirligig.

Set V-15th Century Italian: Petit Vriens, Amoroso, Gelosia, Rostiboli
Gioioso, Anello and Vita di Cholino.

Set VI-Bransles: Horses Bransle, Montard Bransle, War Bransle, Pinagay and
Charlotte Bransle.

Set VII-English Country Dance III: Upon a Summer's Day, Heralds In Love,
Scotch Cap, If all the World Were Paper and Trenchmore.

Set VIII-16th Century Italian II: Villanella, Bizzaria Di Amore, Laccio
d’Amore, Gracca Amoroso and Fedelta.

Set IX: Requests

Finishing Dance:
Quen Quer Que

~Saturday Night~
This will be the Grand Ball. The Dance Mistress is HL Perronnelle Charrette.

~Sunday Afternoon~
Sunday’s Ball will be a Caroso Ball. The dance Mistress is Lady Melissent
d’Aulnay the Capricious (“Capricia”). The List of dances:

Almans: Black, Lorayne, Madam Sosilia, New, Old and Queen’s.

Bransles: Aridan, Cassandra, Charlotte, Horses (Chevaux), Gay, Montard,
Pease (Pois), Pinagay, War, and
Washerwoman’s.

Basse Dance: Casuelle La Novelle

Gresley: Le Bens Distonys

15th Century Italian: Amoroso, Anello, Belfiors, Gelosia, Lauro, Leoncello
Vecchio, Petit Vriens, Prexonera, Rostiboli Gioiso, Vercepe

16th Century Italian: Allegrezza d’Amore, Alta Somaglia, Ballo del Fiore,
Bizzaria d’Amore, Brando di Cales, Contrapasso en Due, Fedelta, Gracca
Amorosa, Il Gratioso, La Castellana, L’Caccio d’Amore, Maraviglia d’Amore,
Spagnoletto, Villanella

Others: Canary (13 x 5), Coranto, Galliards, Earl of Essex Measure, Earl of
Salisbury Pavanne,  La Volta, Prendente en Gyro, Quadran Pavanne

Note:  The musicians and maestra del ballo will be available immediately
before the ball begins to determine if the version of the dance you know is
compatible with the available music.
