Arts and Sciences:
STATIC artisans may compete with one another, "offering" their arts to St. Adalbert and receiving great reward. Only appropriate works may compete, though others are encouraged to display. (i.e. theme is religious art in any medium: a page from a book of hours, the embroidery from an episopal stole used on another item, the possibilities are limitless.)
Format:
No more than 3 entries per person
Entries will be judged using the Ansteorran Static A&S judging forms, which can
be found at http://www.ansteorra.org/orders/peerage/laurel/
There will also be a BARDIC Competition to be held after court in St. Adalbert's Chapel :
The theme is religous - any kind (pilgrims, saints, crusades, cantigas, biblical, etc)
Format:
One piece only, which can have been performed in Period or in a period-style.
You should have, minimally, verbal documentation (what is it, what is it based on)
After the winner has been determined and given largesse, a general bardic
circle may commence.
