HL Radegund of Tours is sponsoring a gourd carving contest on Saturday, at the Deeds of Heroes event.   Gourds will be provided by Radegund and the Barony of Bjornsborg, but bring your own carving implements.  Carving may begin at any time during the day Saturday, but must be completed at least 1 half hour before court begins that evening.

There will be largesse for the winner of each category: most complex (but still structurally intact) and best overall carving.  More categories may be added as ideas and largesse are accumulated.  

Their Excellencies Emrys and Brianna have decreed that the entries will be lit and displayed during court to complete what will hopefully be a clear, crisp fall evening.
