The Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth is showing a medieval manuscript collection from the J.P.
Morgan Library's. There are 58 books on display, the exhibit is scheduled till January 18, 2004.
Even if you are not interested in manuscripts, the illustrations are a good source for
information on decorative arts of the time, costumes, work tools, and many other areas for the SCA
enthusiast.
If in the Steppes or Elfsea area, definately plan time to see it, it's fabulous.
Ticket price is $6., and they provide magnifying glasses to see the works up close. I also
enjoyed looking at the bindings and clasps. Check out the website at <www.kimbellart.org>
Cheers, Hillary
