[Ansteorra-announce] Houston International Quilt Festival

This weekend is the annual Houston Quilt Festival, at the Geo. Brown Convention Center.  This is
the largest Quilt festival in the country, quite possibly the world.   There are two sessions, one
for the trade (vendors) and its going on now, but the second session of for the general public,
which begins on Oct. 30th.  

If you are into quilts, weaving, any fiber arts handwork, this is the convention and show for you.
 They have many classes (with a fee) and many lectures and demonstrations open to the public, as
well as loads of vendors with information and products.  I'm not a quilter, but often find tools
and gadgets I can use in my other art forms.   And besides the show items on display are fabulous
from entrants internationally.

show is held annually 1st weekend in Nov. so you can mark it on your calendar.
