The Shire of the Shadowlands would like to invite our Freinds and Neighbors
to:

Shadowlands’ Champions

This Saturday, April 10, 2004, 9 am to 10 pm

Hensel Park, College Station, TX


Come join us as we celebrate the return of spring and choose our Champions
for the coming year.  We will select our Chivalric, Rapier, Arts & Sciences
and Bardic Champions.  Archers - we will have a "Bunny Hunt" fun shoot.


Site fee is $5 for 14 and up, $3 for children 8-13, children under 8 are
free.  There is a family maximum of $15.  Non-SCA members please add $3.
Make check payable to:  SCA Inc./Shire of the Shadowlands.  This is a Dry
site.

Feast will be potluck and is free if you bring a dish serving 4 people.
Otherwise, feast is $5.  For children 13 and under, feast is free and no
dish is needed.  The Shire will provide meat to be grilled on site.

Pets with rabies certificates will be allowed and must be on leash at all
times.

Driving Directions -

 	Make your best way to College Station. If coming from the north on Hwy 6,
you will exit and turn right onto University Drive. If coming from the south
on Hwy 6, you'll exit and turn left on University Drive. Stay on University
until you get to S. College Ave. (~2.3  miles) Turn right onto S. College
and go about 0.5 miles. The park will be on your right. If coming in from
the Austin area, make your way to Hwy 21 heading towards Bryan. Just before
you get to Bryan, you'll exit right onto Hwy 47 to College Station. Take
this until it merges with Hwy 60/Raymond Stotzer Pkwy/University Dr. You
will go ~3.2 miles on University to S. College Ave. Turn left onto S.
College and follow the directions above.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also
attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event
Waiver Form from the parents.
