Who will be the new Titled Bard of Dragonsfire Tor?

It has been my proud privilege to be the Titled Bard of Dragonsfire Tor
for the past year.  Alas, like all good things, this too must come to an
end, and I must pass this mantle on to a successor.

On Saturday, 24 April, at Guardian of the Tor, there will be a competition
to select the new Titled Bard.  Due to mundane matters, I will be unable
to attend, and have therefore asked Lady Gabrielle de Luxton to stand in
my stead and serve as the main judge of the competition.  She has
graciously agreed to do so, and to pass on the wonderful cloak and staff
that it has been my honor to bear.

Format of the Competition:  Come prepared to perform your best bardic
piece, any style.  Filks are acceptable, but more weight will be give to
Period or Period-style pieces.  There will be two rounds:  the first, a
general round in which all competitors will perform; the second, a
bard-off round in which a limited number of competitors chosen by the
judge(s) will perform a second selection (again, any style).  The new
Titled Bard will be selected from this second round.
