Invite one and all to join them at
Stargate Baronial Championship
April 16-18, 2004
http://stargate.Ansteorra.org/baronial2004.html
We have had two changes happen since the ad was published,
and we felt as thou these changes needed to be posted.
First is the facilities coordinators for Camp Camwood,
have given us the approval to have beer & wine at the event.
Please keep it in a period container.
The second is a correction in the directions from 290.
Please see the information below.
In times of uncertainty there is a need for Great Warriors.
Germany was a very unsettled during the early 1500's due to the
many social and religious changes occurring throughout the land.
In such unstable times, the finest of warriors are needed to
ensure that the people of an area were protected, and that leaders
were available should the call come for battle. Please join their
Excellencies and the populace of Stargate as they meet the changes of
the land and choose those to whom they shall turn, should the clarion call come.
Events to determine the next Baronial
Chivalric, Rapier, Archery, Equestrian, Youth Rapier,
and Children's Champions will be held.
In addition to these tournaments, there will be an Arts and Sciences Display, Bardic Classes & Circle, Stargate History display, and Merchants. A late period Germanic feast will be served.
The site fee will be $10 with a family maximum of $30 and a fee of $5 for minors.
Non-members surcharge will be $3 and the Feast fee will be $7. Please make
checks payable to "SCA, Inc. - Barony of Stargate". A parent or legal guardian
must accompany minors. They may also attend with a 21-year old or older adult
with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents. Due to
our trusted relationship with the Girl Scouts; we have been allowed to have
beer & wine only on site. Please limit it to period containers.
