Greetings all!

As the event stewards of this past Coronation, we have many people to thank.
Our event staff and their volunteers really worked hard to make things run
as effortlessly and efficiently as possible while trying to provide a really
great event.
It was wonderful to work with each of them. Please bear with this lengthy
post of thanks and please forgive any oversights or incorrect spellings.

Thanks to Their Royal Majesties King Miguel de Oporto and Queen Conal
Alexandria O’Riordain, Their Excellencies Count Ulsted the Unsteady and
Countess Cateau D’Ardennes, and Their Excellencies Baron Abd al-Mahdi Jamal
ibn Hakim and Baroness Valeria Richila Navarro for allowing us the honor of
stewarding this event.

Lady Elizabeth of Pendarvis and Lord Caius Maerlyn Britainicus were the
feast stewards. They were very flexible with feast, adapting the numbers
they had to cook for quickly while still preparing a feast that was
enjoyable and tasty. It’s a difficult job to cook for so many while also
trying to create a period menu. It was very much appreciated. Also, we
send congratulations to them for both receiving a Sable Thistle in the field
of Cooking. Congratulations. Their staff included Lady Ker Megan of
Taransay, Lord Caelin on Andrede, Lord David, and House Crane.

Set-up and Tear-down was organized by Lord Daniel of Cameron and Lady
Joselyn de Viverais. They did an incredible amount of work organizing
volunteers and keeping the event together. Each day was long and took a lot
of physical labor. Further, they both helped with set-up and tear-down of
Steppes 12th Night, along with Dolores Mother-of-Daniel and Honorable Lady
Elin the Timid to facilitate the set up and decorating for Coronation.
Thanks to the Steppes 12th Night Steward, HE Master Edwin FitzLloyd and his
set-up and decorations crew, Mistress Muriel FitzLloyd, Master Eisen von
Kringer, and Dona Antonia Bianca Santiago da Lagos, for working with us to
make Coronation less demanding.

Timid, Lord Iames Lochlainn, Thelyn Oakwood, Honorable Lady Chiara
Francesca Arianna d’Onofrio, Lady Anne the Spinster, Baron Borek Vitalievich
Volkov, Lord Morgan Buchanan, Lord Jacques the Spink, and Lord Geoffery

Special thanks to people who helped unload at the shed: Lord John de
Irwynne, Lady Catalina Damiana Saravia Quicedo de Xerez, Honorable Lady
Ciar nic Ruadhan O’Seachnasaigh, Lord Morgan Buchanan, Honorable Lady Elin
the Timid, and Thelyn Oakwood.

The remarkable site tokens were created by Honorable Lady Amalia Zavattini
and Lord Alejandro Ramirez Mendoza. Amalia cast over 400 site tokens on her
own (imagine how sore she was) and the finishing crew included Alejandro,
Lord Daniel of Cameron, Dolores Mother-of-Daniel, Lady Aurelia Yverneau, and
  Lady Melissent d’Aulnay the
Capricious. The site tokens were strung by Daniel, Aurelia, Capricia, and
Lady Sibri de Aldebourne.

Our gate coordinator was Lady Osanna de Burgh. She was helped by Lady
Katherine of Ayr, Lady Bice di Pietro, Honorable Lady Chiara Francesca
Arianna d’Onofrio, Lord John de Irwynne, Lord Elrique, Dona Antonia Santiago
da Lagos, Lady Linet Grey, and Lady Catalina Damiana Saravia Quicedo de
Xerez.

Lord Morgan Buchanan was the marshal in charge of the King’s Champion
Tourney and the list mistresses were Honorable Lady Ekaterina Iadorovna
Kharlampieva and Lady Margarite McBridin. Marshals included Sir Randall,
Sir William, Viscount Olaf, Lord Caelin, and Lord Godfrey. Lady Sara helped
herald for the tourney. The set up and tear down for the tourney included
Thelyn Oakwood, Lord Daniel of Cameron, Melissa, Key Connor, Lord Daire, and
Lord Godfrey.

The event’s chirurgeon was Lady Genevieve del Gamba. She was helped by Lady
Caristiona nic Laren, Arthur, Lord Arkell vom Cophaus, Mistress Rosalia,
Lady Elizabeth Pendarvis, Lady Gerita del Mar, Lady Gwen, and Lord Seanan.

Lady Fionnuala the Fey was our merchant coordinator. We set her a difficult
task – limiting the number of merchants and the space they were provided.
But she organized well and did her best to accommodate everyone. Thanks to
both her and the merchants for their patience and willingness to work
together in a difficult situation.

Lord Vincenzo Cellini organized the A&S Display and the Insignia Challenge.
Thanks to all the artists who displayed; there was some incredible art
work. And further thanks to those who donated insignia to the Kingdom; some
really exceptional pieces were created.

Thanks to HL Alexander Ravenshaw for help with the Blackstar ad and patience
with late submissions. Our feast reservationist was the Honorable Lady Elin
the Timid. Our virtual scribe was Lady Lowrie Leulyn. Lady Maili Donnel
MacGregor organized children’s activities and was helped by Contessa
Vanessa. Mistress Curstaidh Magorlick organized the scribal activities and
was helped by HE Chrystal Arianna MacRuari. Master Darius of the Bells
organized a scribal arts display.

Lady Elysia O’Malley was the Royal liaison, Head Server, and prepared the
Landed’s luncheon with assistance from Kynborough O’Malley; Rosalia’s
daughter AJ, Arkele’s son Arturo, and George’s daughter Brittany helped
serve the Landed’s luncheon and helped serve feast. George’s daughter
Nikki, Averial’s daughter, Sueko, Brother Kris and Lady Elizabeth also
helped with serving feast.

We’d like to thank the members of the peerages for taking time to sit at the
Ask-a-Peer tables. The College of Heralds also provided a great heraldic
consultation table.

Dance was provided by the Steppes Dance Guild and Honorable Lady Isabeau
Lallement. Musicians were Master Avatar of Catsprey, Master Michael
Silverhands, Honorable Lord Gerald of Leesville, and Honorable Lady Elin the
Timid.

There were three fundraisers during the event. Master Fredrich der
Rothirsch set up a table for the Gulf Wars Gate Fund. Lady Fionnuala the
Fey organized a silent auction for Ansteorran 25th Year Celebration. Lady
Gerita del Mar also organized a tavern to help raise money for Ansteorran
25th Year Celebration.

The Barony of the Steppes officers played an important part in making
everything run smoothly for the event, especially the Seneschal Lady
Francesca Lavina Sansovino, the Exchequer John de Irwynne, and the
Quartermaster Thelyn Oakwood. It important to have reliable, dependable
officers and they serve the Barony well.

In service,
HL Julianna Vertue and Philip White
