[Ansteorra-announce] Exploring Chivalry - will armor be required at the Westgate Collegium on June 12

Greetings gentles, 
A question has arisen as to whether armor is required at the Westgate Winter Collegium, 
happening this next weekend on June 12th??

If you can convince the judges that you know WELL combat technique and chivalrous behavior on the
field, then you may not be required to 'prove' it.  However, it has also been put to me that 'If
you can talk the talk, can you walk the walk?', and to that end, you may be required to put on
armor and show the virtures of chivalry.   

However, to counter that, the event is also designed that one who truly knows the chivalric
virtues, and understands and can discuss armored combat; even a non-fighter may become the
Westgate Chivalric Champion.

Hence, to be fully prepared, BRING YOUR ARMOR if you have it.  The tournament portion is from 
11 - 1pm, with lunch during.  Please do not leave armor in the church, but rather at the
tournament field only (a lawn on the church grounds).   There are no shower facilities on site,
plan accordingly.
