[Ansteorra-announce] Contests at Laurel's Prize - Wall Hanging, Ethnic dances, Scribal arts, best use of sheep!!

Greetings all, 
At Laurel's Prize Tourney, Laurel's with host contests for areas they are specifically interested
in or want to encourage.  To give artisans time to prepare, they are posted here:  

**Duchess Willow de Wisp will sponsor a wall hanging project contest. She will offer a prize to
all that enter and a special prize to the winner. All wall hangings must reflect a period style.
It can be either original or recreation of a period piece. A special prize will be presented to
her favorite piece that tells a tale. 

**Duchess Willow de Wisp will also be offering a prize to the dancer who does the best folkloric
Middle Eastern, Persian, Gyspy or Hindi dance. 

**Master Darius of the Bells will be looking for the most period calligraphy and illumination
project and also best adaptation of a book of bours illumination to SCA purposes. Each will
receive a really spiff broach and a small basket of goodies, as well as the opportunity to
highlight their work on the Scribes website as featured artist. 

**Mistress Clare RosMuire St. John will be looking for the best use of sheep. 
(can't wait to see what shows up for this one!!) 

**Master Geof and Mistress Rose Cathan will be looking for the best scribe and illuminator.
