Greetings to the illustrious kingdom of Ansteorra! It is my honor to
announce that Passa de Arms in the shire of Adlersruhe is occuring on June
24th, 25th and 26th. It is our annual defender tournament and this year is
themed " The Passage and Rights of Arms."
The day will include:

Chivalric Combat: hold the field style, challengers choose weapon style

Rapier Combat: hold the field style, challengers choose weapon style

Knife, Axe and Spear

Archery competition: done in the Kings Forrest setting

Arts and Science competition: Themed toward rituals and rites of passage for
all walks of period life, documentation is required, following the theme is
not.

Bardic Competition: also geared toward rites of passage but not required.

New fighters tourneys for heavy and light will also be held

As part of our annual Arms tourney, all past defenders of the shire in
Chivalric and Rapier are invited to show their skill in the Champion of
Champions tournaments.

Our day of skilled competitions will also include a brewing competition
hosted by the Tasters Guild and an onsite embroidery contest hosted by the
Sewing Guild.

For those interested in learning a new skill we have a
Calligraphy/Illumination class and two Dance classes.

The site is Lake McLellan Reservoir, where we have held the event for many
years now, an hour east of Amarillo. It is a primitive site so please bring
plenty of water.

I have special news from all that are planning to attend already, we have
several new merchants to our event this year. They include:
Don Pieter's Spectrum Fencer's Club- rapiers and rapier gear.

Anistashia of Anistashias Accents - sidless surcoats and beaded jewelry

Fredericks Armaments Co.- Chivalric Products , Rapier Products, Archery
Products, Leather Products , and Miscellaneous

Guardsman Supply Company- chivalric and light armor, swords and daggers,
books, and a little garb

there is also the possibility of Brother Liston from Am Loch setting up a
booth, but I haven't gotten a positive go from him as of yet.
So be prepared to find something you can't live without.
