[Ansteorra-announce] Sad News regarding Ed Tatom

Hi, folks,

This won't affect many of you.  My roommate, Ed Tatom, passed away at home 
this week without warning.  One of his SCA names was Stiller Teilhaber.  He 
was also called Bear and Edward of Tathom and was a Shadowlander like me 
(once a Shadowlander, always a Shadowlander; we just add affiliations to 
that one).  He's been a herald, a fighter, a seneschal (they called him the 
"Evil Alcalde" because he insisted events break even), an inveterate 
punster, and a rescuer to many in need.  He's been my friend for 25 years 
and my roommate for 3.5.

His family is in town making arrangements and notifying as many people as 
possible.  I've been helping.  Ed was such a private man, that this has been 
an interesting challenge.  I know a few names and they know a few names, 
etc.  The news is spreading like ripples on a pool.  If you think of anyone 
we might have missed, please spread the word.

Ed will be cremated.  His memorial is:

The family requests that anyone who has any pictures of Ed, especially any 
taken in the SCA or in the last 10 years to please get them to them by 
Wednesday.  They also ask if there is anyone who would be interested in 
giving the eulogy or has some anecdotes to share to please get in touch.
