[Ansteorra-announce] Kingdom Calendar of Events

Did you know Ansteorra has its Kingdom Calendar of Events online?

If your group wants to hold an event or to make additions to this calendar, you should contact the Calendar Secretary, HL Clara von Ulm.  You must send her via mail a completed Request for Kingdom Calendar Date form (with the Autocrat Warrant portion filled out).

Her contact info is in the Black Star and at the top of the online Kingdom Calendar of Events.  Her email is calendar at ansteorra.org.

To be clear: to get on either the unofficial online Kingdom Calendar or the official Kingdom Calendar in the back of the Black Star you must contact the Calendar Secretary, not the Kingdom Chronicler.

Awards, formal actions and announcements with long-term impact on the Society may occur only at official Kingdom Calendar Events.

For an event to be considered an official Kingdom Calendar Event, it must be a gathering sponsored by an officially recognized branch of the kingdom that is listed in advance on the official kingdom calendar of events (found in the back of the Black Star). In addition, the date, time, and place of the event must be published in advance in the Black Star.

What this means is that to hold an official Kingdom Calendar Event, you must have the Calendar Secretary put your event on the official Kingdom Calendar AND
you must have an event announcement appear in the Black Star before your event happens.

I hope this clears up any confusion.
