Unto the good gentles of Ansteorra, greetings!

I am Peregrine Fairchylde, organizer of the Gleann Abhann Supply
Run, which is collecting essential goods to deliver to our displaced
SCA family members in the Gulf Coast region. We have started hearing
from concerned Ansteorrans and I wanted to let you know how best to
assist us.

If you live close to the border with Meridies/Gleann Abhann, there
are three people acting as liaisons with your kingdom. Those in the
north who are closest to the Shire of Smythkepe (Ft. Smith, Ark.)
should contact Lord Regne de Lyon (Troy Gordon),
lordregne at yahoo.com, 479-649-2218. Those of you living in the
central border near Shire of Ardanroe (Shreveport, La.) should
contact Lady Sarah MacGregor (Sarah Lakey), hrldndva at yahoo.com,
318-218-4446. Those on the southern border should contact Lord Jean
Louis (Jay Ardoin), 337-433-8587.

If you are a short drive to the border and can deliver supplies,
great! We're looking for nonperishable essentials (water, canned
food, hygiene items, baby formula, etc.). We will relay these to the
folks in need and the good gentles who are giving them shelter.

If you are farther away, please consider doing this: Take up a
collection (of non-group money) and buy a gift card to Wal-Mart,
Home Depot, Lowe's or a gas station. Then get it to the liaison for
your area. We will either use these to buy supplies closer to the
areas of need, or give them to displaced families who have to
rebuild. Gas cards will help the supply drivers keep on the road.

The outpouring of support from our long-time neighbors and friends
in Ansteorra is heartwarming. I look forward to next Gulf Wars when
I can thank each of you personally. Vivat Ansteorra!
