Due to the recent disaster along the Gulf Coast of the United States, the US 
Postal Service has directed that mail not be delivered within certain ranges 
of zip codes in the affected areas.  The SCA Board of Directors has been 
asked to consider actions  to prevent members in the affected areas from 
having their memberships counting down during a time in which no 
publications will be delivered. Therefore they have directed that those 
memberships will be placed on hiatus without loss of time remaining until 
the mailing ban is lifted.

As a member in the affected areas re-establish a valid mailing address, the 
hiatus will end and membership extended for the appropriate time remaining.  
Members should notify the Corporate office of their new, valid mailing 
address in writing, fax, or online once it is available.
