The Shire of Stonebridge Keep invites one and all to Golden Arrow XI on
September 23-25, 2005 at Brackenridge Plantation Park and Campground on
Lake Texana, 891 Breckenridge Parkway, Edna, Texas 77957.
 
Activities
Join us for a weekend filled with fun and camaraderie! 
Come and compete for the title of Champion in Chivalric, Rapier, Thrown
Weapons, Artisan, and Bardic.
Other Activities will include: a Youth Tourney, Youth Bardic
competition, Children's activities, and a drum circle. Bring your drums
and your dancing feet and join the fun!  Rumors of the infamous Cock
Toss and the Manly Game have been heard around!
 
Fees
Site is adults $8, children 6-17 $5, 5 and under free, family max $24,
non-member surcharge $3. Feast is adults $8, children 6-17 $5, 5 and
under free. Make checks payable to SCA Inc. /Shire of Stonebridge Keep
 
Feast Menu
Feast will consist of mouthwatering and hearty brisket of beef,
accompanied by potatoes, salad, breads, butter, fixings, and for
dessert, Brownie Boats! 
 
Site Information
Site opens at 4:00PM on Friday and closes at 12:00PM on Sunday. No
ground fires permitted. 
Please bring tables. Site is wet in period containers. All minors must
be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. They may attend with an
adult 21 or over with a signed and notarized minor permission form. Pets
are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
 
Directions
Make your best way to Edna, Texas on Highway 59 between Houston and
Victoria. Take Highway 111 South. The site is approximately 7 miles
southeast of Edna on State Highway 111.   For a map visit

Children's' Activities
(Subject to change)
09:00 --- Sign in starts, Start princess/robin hood hats. 
09:45 --- Field Trip to Chivalric and Rapier fighting fields. 
10:00 --- Playground. 
10:30 --- Return and finish hats. 
12:00 --- Sign out kids for lunch. 
01:00 --- Sign in for afternoon, Field trip to watch kid's boffer. 
01:30 --- Playground. 
02:00 --- Children's Bardic/coloring contest. 
02:45 --- Make butter, Have butter on crackers and juice, also some of
the butter will be used for the royalties table and we well make a sign
for that table/butter. 
04:00 --- Pick up children.
