[Ansteorra-announce] [Announcements] Pennsic chirurgeonate concerns

In recent days, the Board has received a large volume of communication
from the membership regarding the Pennsic event management staff's
decision to transfer first aid coordination responsibilities from the
Chirurgeonate to Northwestern EMS.

While the Board does not desire to become involved in event management, we
do feel that in this instance, an investigation is warranted. The Society
Chirurgeon's and the Society Seneschal's offices will each coordinate
inquiries related to their individual areas of influence and report back
to the Board in time for the October quarterly meeting with their
recommendations.

We realize that this is an emotional topic for some, and would appreciate
everyone's effort to keep the communication on a professional,
well-reasoned level. Open hostility, sarcasm and vitriol accomplish
little. If you have relevant information to share, we encourage you to
send an e-mail to chirurgeon at sca.org and/or seneschal at sca.org.
