[Ansteorra-announce] Subject: Youth Rapier Authorization At Queen's Champion

Greetings, Ansteorra from the Kingdom Youth Rapier Marshal!

I look forward to seeing all of Ansteorra's authorized youth fencers enter
Her Majesty's "Guardian of the Queen's Hope" Tournament. 

I realize there are still many adults and youth out there that want to become authorized to participate
in Youth Rapier Activities. If you do not have a PINK authorization card you are
not authorized! (unless you have a temporary authorization). ALL gold cards
expired DEC 1. 

I will arrange to do new authorizations AFTER the tournaments. If
possible, please let me know ahead of time so I can arrange to have enough authorizing
marshals on hand.

If you can, you should get with your Regional Youth Rapier Marshal and get
authorized this week. I will NOT be doing any new authorizations before
the tournament on Saturday, except by prior arrangement. 

If you plan to fight or marshal in Queens Hope and you do not have a current authorization, you MUST
contact me ASAP. Not Friday, not Saturday morning, NOW.  I will need to collect some
information from you. Even with prior notice I will only do a limited number of these 
pre-tournament authorizations. Those who do not contact me in time will
have to wait for the authorization sessions AFTER the tournament.

We will not authorize anyone that has not satisfactorily met all the
requirements for a new authorization and one of those requirements is that you have had the
class on the new Youth Rapier Rules. If you have not had this class then you have
probably run out of time to get this done before Queens. There will not be time to give
the Rules Class at Queen's. You could try contacting one of my authorizing marshals
but they are also very busy this week.
