[Ansteorra-announce] Autumn Melees!

Greeting unto the wonderful populace of Ansteorra!

  Autumn Melees is just about here!   Site open at Noon on Thursday Nov.
16th and closes noon on Monday 20th – More days to have fun!  Melees and
activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Four nights of fun.

 

Lots of updates have been done to the Melees website in the last couple
days!

Please check the website out for all kinds of info including:  Site maps,
merchants, feast menu, mosquito warnings, schedules, fighting scenarios,
classes, Kingdom Middle East Dance Championship, Bordermarch Baronial
championships in Equestrian, Bardic and Youth Bardic…… 

and of course LOTS of FIGHTING!  Combat Archery and target archery. And a
Hafla Friday and Saturday.

 

 Border Keep now has over 200 feet of walls, has a new water well in the
back, and a new amphitheater!

Gate will be out on the big slab on the crescent circle- Enter site on the
EAST entrance off FM255

 

We are still looking for some more teachers – especially on Friday and

TAVERNS NEEDED!  We have no confirmed Taverns.  Email Phocas

There will be a BIG Feast on Saturday night – they are roasting a pig on
site Saturday.

   MOC is planning a “stone soup” on Sunday, that the children will venture
around site to gather ingredients and have a soup/stew for all to enjoy
Sunday evening.
